I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been working in private practice since 2017. I received a bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from the University of Southern Indiana. I then received a masters degree in social work from Austin Peay State University, graduating with honors.
I truly love what I do; making a difference in this world one person at a time brings me joy.

I am a Registered Play Therapist™ and am passionate about working with children, specifically through the use of play therapy techniques. Play is the way children communicate, thereby making it the best way to understand a child. I utilize evidence-based techniques to help children struggling with anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, transitions, trauma, divorce/separation, among others. I assist children and their parents to develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and create strong caregiver/child bonds.
When working with children, I require periodic parent consultation meetings where I provide support and psychoeducation of various skills to promote growth outside of therapy sessions. I am also able to provide evidenced based parent interventions, when needed, including Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) and Circle of Security Parenting (COSP).

Welcome! You are already showing such courage and taking charge of your journey by being here. Starting and/or continuing your therapy journey can be one of the most daunting choices to make. It is one of the greatest honors to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and work through the different parts of you. Humans, at their core, are not solitary creatures; we crave companionship and support. I firmly believe the therapeutic relationship and therapy process can make the journey of healing less daunting. I also understand that some of you might be showing up skeptical or unsure of what therapy could offer you. I hope to be a safe space to explore that discovery and answer some of those questions.

Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where healing can begin.
I work with children, teens, and adults through a trauma-focused and attachment-informed lens, helping clients navigate everything from early childhood wounds to present-day overwhelm. When we feel truly safe and supported, lasting change becomes possible. I am focused on pacing sessions in a way that is aligned with your nervous system and fosters a sense of safety in the body.
I also support mothers coping with postpartum depression, and parents facing the emotional challenges of raising children.
The primary therapeutic modalities I use include EMDR and trauma-informed hypnosis—powerful approaches for processing trauma and reconnecting with inner safety. I also utilize parts work/IFS-informed approaches, sand tray therapy, CBT, and DBT. I work with supporting individuals with complex trauma and dissociative disorders, veterans with combat related and/or service-related trauma as well as adults and teens struggling with anxiety. Faith can be a powerful source of support—I'm honored to offer Christian-informed care for those who request it.
Whether you're feeling stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by caregiving, or struggling to feel like yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity.

Welcome! I am a licensed professional counselor with a passion for providing meaningful therapeutic experiences for every client I serve. In my work, I prioritize the therapeutic relationship and intentionally craft an environment of security, openness, acceptance, warmth, humor, and sensitivity. I am a good fit for clients searching for a nurturing, nonjudgmental, and encouraging therapist. I aim to be flexible and regularly invite my clients to share feedback to ensure that our work is collaborative and purposeful. I can’t promise that therapy won’t be uncomfortable, difficult, or even painful at times but I can promise that you will be safe, respected, and cherished throughout our work together. I would be grateful for the opportunity to hear your story, hold your pain, and guide you through healing.
Safety, respect, autonomy, and empowerment are some of my primary values both personally and professionally. I provide therapeutic services to children, teens, and adults experiencing a wide range of stressors and challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship distress, self-harm, suicidal ideation, life transitions, women’s issues, and more. My primary approach is person-centered as I firmly believe that clients are the experts in their lives and experiences, although I do incorporate additional interventions and modalities, such as sandtray, expressive arts, mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy in order to ensure that my clients are provided with a treatment that is unique to their background, comfort, needs, and goals.
I have experience providing counseling to children as young as three years old and am dedicated to creating a safe therapeutic environment in which even the littlest of clients can explore and overcome their challenges. I am trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and Adlerian Play Therapy (AdPT) and work to establish an individualized treatment approach to best suit the needs of my clients and their family systems. I have experience working with children who are impacted by anxiety, phobias, trauma, grief, attachment ruptures, life adjustments, behavioral concerns, depression, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and more. I find it necessary to include caregivers in the therapeutic process and often encourage parent consultations in order to honor and support those closest to the children under my therapeutic care. I know it can be frightening and uncomfortable to ask for help and to place your trust and your child’s care into the hands of another. I do not take this role lightly and I consider it a significant privilege to be part of your child’s growth and healing.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence-based form of psychotherapy that utilizes eye movements to support clients in addressing common concerns associated with phobias, anxiety, grief, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and more. The goal of ART is to process negative and often distressing images and sensations stored from previous experiences in order to relieve clients of intrusive and lingering symptoms. ART is noted to be a relatively brief treatment method, with clients often reporting relief following one session. I am a trained and certified ART practitioner and have witnessed tremendous healing as a result of this treatment method. I am happy to engage clients solely in Accelerated Resolution Therapy or to incorporate it into longer-term treatment depending on the needs, desires, and appropriateness of each client.

Do you feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief? Do you find yourself stuck in unhealthy thought patterns or lying awake at night with worries that make it hard to rest? You might be working through the impact of anxiety, trauma, OCD, or difficulties related to women’s experiences. Deep down, you may be hoping for relief, a sense of understanding, and a path toward healing and hope.
In our work together, you will find a safe and supportive space where you are seen and understood. I use person-centered therapy, trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy in a way that best fits your needs. Therapy is not about fixing you, it is about rediscovering your strength, finding your voice, and creating new ways to grow.
I know reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to face this alone. Healing is possible, and you deserve support along the way. When you are ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk beside you on this journey.

I truly believe that one of the bravest things you can do is show up for yourself, again and again. Your story deserves to be heard, and you deserve to be understood. As your therapist, my role is to walk alongside you on your journey, supporting and empowering you while also gently challenging you to grow into the most authentic and fulfilled version of yourself.
Creating a warm and healing space for clients to share their life experiences is one of my greatest honors, and it’s a responsibility I approach with care and intention. I strive to provide a non-judgmental environment where you can explore the tough questions, process your thoughts and emotions, and feel both challenged and validated in the process.
I look forward to working with you and supporting your journey. I work with dI offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, with availability during the week and on weeknights to best accommodate your schedule.

Van Gogh once said, “If I am worth anything later, I am worth something now. For wheat is wheat, even if people think it is a grass in the beginning.” I believe that no matter where you are in your healing process, you deserve compassion, understanding, and acceptance. Change only starts to occur once we can truly accept ourselves and confront the shame and guilt we've accumulated. Behaviors and coping skills usually serve an adaptive function at some point in time! In other words, we need to make peace with the dark instead of trying to run away from it.
I offer individual therapy for people ages 4+. My passion is working with kids and I utilize child-centered play therapy as my main modality. In a play therapy session, you and your child can expect an environment that assists children in accessing the unconscious thoughts, emotions, and beliefs they grapple with along with co-regulation to promote safety.
My goal as a therapist is to build a therapeutic relationship that feels authentic, compassionate, and rooted in care. When working with kids, it is important that I not only connect with the kiddos in that way, but also with their families. With my adults, you can expect a therapist who uses humor, gentle challenging, & insight-building!
I offer individual therapy for adults and children & couples therapy. I have experience working with children ages 3+, using techniques from child-centered play therapy to promote esteem-building, emotional regulation, self-control, and returning responsibility. I also use cognitive-behavioral therapy to help address behaviors & its natural consequences.
My goal as a therapist is to provide empowerment, compassion, and unconditional positive regard to everyone who walks into my room. It is time for you to tell your story instead of letting your story tell you!
